Redemption Road

When a compulsive fear of performing threatens to derail his career, white bluesman Jefferson Bailey (Morgan Simpson) sets off on a life-changing drive from Austin, Texas, to Huntsville, Ala., accompanied by a kindly African American stranger (Michael Clarke Duncan). Simpson also co-wrote the script to this sensitive tale of redemption and human connection, co-starring Tom Skerritt and directed by Mario Van Peebles.
