When college-bound "animal whisperer" Maya Dolittle (Kyla Pratt) assists movie star Tiffany Monaco's (Tegan Moss) Chihuahua, she gets sucked into the allure and flashiness of Hollywood after an impressed Tiffany offers her a plum television gig.
